Keep the source when the next video starts.
A new angle should not mean copying the same specifications from memory. Save the notes you reviewed, find them again, and compare each new draft with that exact source. Remixure's source library keeps article text and structured product facts in your workspace.
Save notes before drafting.
- Open Start from an idea, brief or source and enable Use source material. Enter reviewed text, import a permitted public webpage or feed entry, open a text PDF or review a Word document, or choose Product facts.
- Check the numbers, qualifications, date and attribution. Imported text and AI wording still need your review.
- Open Saved source library, confirm that you have permission to save and reuse the notes, then choose Save current source.
Saving notes does not generate a video or use a storyboard attempt. It remains available when new AI drafts are unavailable. Exact matching normalized notes reuse the same snapshot; changing the content creates separate notes, leaving the earlier source intact.
Keep local edits until they are confirmed.
Typed and applied source notes stay in the current editor until you save them or send them with a confirmed storyboard request. If you navigate away with unsaved notes, Remixure warns you to keep editing or discard them. Saving the video or enabling video autosave does not save the source form.
Turning source material off or switching between reference text and product facts pauses those fields; unsaved notes in either type still trigger the warning. Choose Discard unsaved source notes to clear the local fields, including paused notes. Saved sources and your video remain unchanged.
A save confirms the exact notes submitted. If you change a field while that response is pending, the new edits remain separate and still need saving. To return to the retained version, review it in the library and choose Use saved source.
The warning alone cannot recover notes after a browser crash. For a separate local copy, explicitly enable Keep a recovery copy on this device. It keeps bounded reference, partial product and paused notes in this browser for up to 24 hours; it is off by default. Original files, media origins, saved-source links and permission confirmations are excluded.
On returning, choose Review device copy, read both source types, then Restore notes into this form. Restore replaces the current reference and product fields only after another access check. Changed form fields or a newer copy from another tab require review again. Review permissions before using recovered notes, and save important notes in the library.
Device recovery uses unencrypted browser storage, not a server backup or saved-source receipt. Avoid it on shared devices. Expired text can remain in storage until you remove it or sign out; expired copies cannot be restored. Remove device copy leaves the form unchanged. Discarding local source notes removes the copy last kept or reviewed. If another tab changed it, review and remove that newer copy separately; leaving Studio keeps an enabled copy separate. Signout and account-deletion exit clear Remixure recovery keys. Browsers without safe coordination between tabs offer library saving instead.
Find the exact specification.
Search a title, a phrase inside the notes, or an attribution URL. For a notebook, searching “unlined” helps find the source that actually includes that qualification. Choose a source type and Active or Archived status to narrow the results.
Open a result to read all its notes before selecting Use saved source. Write the purpose of the new video, review the selected source and permission again, then draft. Editing a source field starts separate notes; it does not edit the library record.
Compare the ready scenes with the retained source. A model might shorten “80 unlined pages” to “80 pages” or abbreviate a call to action. Correct omissions and implications before applying the storyboard and saving the video.
Archive without losing the original context.
If specifications become outdated, the person who saved the notes or a workspace admin can choose Archive source. Archived notes cannot start a new draft through the library. Find them under Archived and choose Restore source if they should be available again.
Archival does not rewrite existing storyboards or saved video versions. Their Original draft and source panel retains the notes used at creation. Check whether those older facts are still appropriate before sharing; archive is not a recall of a video or a download.
A workspace can retain up to 500 distinct snapshots, including archived notes. Article/reference text is limited to 12,000 characters; structured product notes keep their existing field limits. This is a notes library, not independent fact-checking, scanned-document OCR or a store-page extraction service.
